Sonam Kapoor's friendship with Swara Bhasker began on the sets of Raanjhanaa. The two have done went on to do two more movies together and have time and again stood by each other in times of need. Now, that Sonam is getting hitched to boyfriend Anand Ahuja, how can bestie Swara not plan a sweet surprise for her darling friend?

While everyone has been practicing for the big sangeet ceremony, Swara seems to have joined late and put in extra effort to make her performance look flawless. Here's her doing some last minute preps:

Alongside Swara, fashion designer Kunal Rawal can be seen matching dance steps. Kunal too is one of Sonam's good friends.

Coming to talk of the lovely couple, Sonam and Anand’s love story began in 2014 when the duo met through a common friend. Anand proposed to Sonam in a month’s time after their first meeting and the rest as they say is history.

After years of making various appearances together and PDA posts on social media, Sonam and Anand have decided to take the plunge and are ready to tie the knot on May 8.

The functions are slated to take place between May 7 and 8. Mehendi has been organized at Sunteck Signature Island, BKC. The function will kick-start at 4 pm.

On May 8, the wedding will take place in the morning at Rockdale, Bandra. This is Sonam’s aunt’s bungalow. The rituals will start at 11 am and will go on till 12:30 pm. And after Sonam-Anand take the wedding vows, the day will end with a fancy party at The Leela, Mumbai. This bash will commence at 8 pm.

The vibes at the Kapoor house is full of energy and festivities. Yesterday, Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor along with Jacqueline Fernandez, had posted videos of their dance rehearsals at Anil Kapoor’s Juhu bungalow, which is lit-up and decorated beautifully. Chachu Sanjay Kapoor, who visited the bungalow, broke into a bhangra as soon as he reached the house on Friday night.

Coming to the wedding, we’re sure fans can’t keep calm and are super excited to see Sonam turn into a beautiful bride.
